I always felt in my heart, though, that it wouldn’t be the place I’d grow old in. When the opportunity came to move to Berlin I just took it. It was the perfect fit from the first moment on. This city with its crazy history and energy came at me right away. And I soaked it up. All of it. As artists our surroundings have such a huge influence on our thinking and our work. I could stay here all day and night and not even think of it as work. Our studio is state-of-the-art, from perfect sounding live rooms, to top-class isolated writing rooms and gear. There’s even a dart board where I work on my alternative carreer…”
